Meet Dr. Singh
Dr. Tarandeep Singh is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon known for his compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail. Dr. Singh often says that his greatest lessons have come from the patients that he has had the privilege to provide care for. Dr. Singh specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions related to the face, mouth, and jaw, including wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, dental implants, bone grafting, and the management of complex oral pathologies.
Dr. Singh grew up in New Jersey and completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. He then ventured out of his Jersey roots and made his move to the big city for his dental education. After earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University, Dr. Singh completed a General Dentistry residency at Robert Wood Johnson-Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. During his time there, he sparked an interest in facial trauma and reconstruction and went on to complete a rigorous residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious Northwell Health/Long Island Jewish Medical Center (LIJMC). During his time at Northwell, he received advanced training in anesthesia, complex surgical procedures including corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and dental implant rehabilitation. In his last year of training, Dr. Singh served as chief resident covering and operating in numerous trauma hospitals in the New York area including Lenox Hill Hospital, North Shore University Hospital and Stony Brook University Hospital. His background in dentistry and surgery uniquely positions Dr. Singh to provide comprehensive care that blends surgical expertise with a deep understanding of oral health. Following completion of his formal Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training, Dr. Singh completed a fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery at Robert Wood Johnson – Monmouth Medical Center in an effort to provide expanded scope of practice for his patients.
Dr. Singh is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), and American Dental Association (ADA). With a commitment to staying at the forefront of the field, Dr. Singh regularly participates in continuing education and research to bring the latest advancements and techniques to patients under his care. When not in the office, Dr. Singh enjoys spending time outdoors whether it is running or lounging in the sun and traveling with his wife.
